How Many time have you promised yourself that you will get yourself together? That you will get your things done, that you will dedicate time for your favorite activity or an important task… to find yourself at the end of the day bothered that you didn’t get it done? Or do you wonder where the time went when you put your head on your pillow at night?
I am here to rescue you, by giving simple tips to better manage your time in 2025. Let’s go!!
TIP 1 : Use Apps
I stand by this tip so hard. As someone who have used and tried a lot of phone apps to manage my time and organize my schedule, I have always found this tip efficient. Not only it makes it handy and easy to check your tasks for the day, but it also notifies you as a reminder of your upcoming or current task.
Now look, there is a bunch of time management apps out there, but I remember in 2015 when I stumbled across this app called Time Tune (Not sponsored). It literally got me on track. I really recommend you to try it. Simple and clear to use.

If you are not an app person, you can, of course, make your own schedules and plannings, whether on a notebook, or a white board… (To be honest, I use both approaches) to each its own charm, I guess.
TIP 2 : Rank Your Priorities
We have heard so many times, that we should have our priorities straight, right? The tip that I can add is that we should also rank them. Out of your 5 priorities, which one would take first place and which one would take last. This makes time management much much easier and efficient.

So of course, after you have ranked your priorities, you should, most of the time, include them in your routine. Focus on accomplishing them in order for you to have that feeling of satisfaction and pride each night when you prepare to sleep.
Ranking your priorities will definitely make you allocate the right amount of time to each one of them.
TIP 3 : Get Rid Of Unuseful Habits
I will have to admit something here… Although I am using/have used all these apps, and to-do lists… I still find myself wasting some time scrolling on social media or simply using my phone in an unuseful way… which means I am not managing my time correctly. I know that you can relate, whether by binge watching TV shows and movies, playing video games, or excessive sleep and the list goes on and on.
I am not telling that we should eliminate these habits completely, but it would do us a favor if we limit them, at least before we finish the priorities we set for ourselves in our plan for the day.

The tip that I will be giving for this, is simple. Which is we have to truly and deeply realize that sticking to these habits is damaging. And that we would have much better outcome of our days without them. We can also just imagine it, I mean imagining how we would feel if we complete what we planned during the day limiting the distractions. It feels good, doesn’t it?
TIP 4 : Have An Accountability Partner
I don’t think I had an accountability partner until recently. And it is doing us a huge benefit, because we feel like we have no choice or excuse but to get the tasks we communicated to each other done. For this to work, you need to get someone who would keep you on your toes, someone who will not catch you slacking. This “someone” can be anyone: a family member, a friend, or even a stranger on the internet.

The number 1 tip I would give is that both of you should send each other your daily or weekly plans, and have both of you checking in on each other from time to time. Keep a high energy and you will absolutely have a better time management.
Of course you can have more than one accountability partner, but 1 is good enough.
Check my other blog where I talked about tips to stick to your 2025 resolutions. And remember to grow on your own rhythm.
Great tips, the accountability partner is quite new to me. For time management I have two mantras which are “do not leave for tomorrow what can be done today” and also to prioritize initiating the tasks with longer timelines. We’ll always have urgencies and setbacks to deal with but I believe it definitely helps reduce their frequency.
